Altair Records are happy to announce their first compilation Album. "FEELS LIKE DISCO" features 9 HI NRG DISCO classics featuring classics and recent remakes of Classic tracks. The Album includes SCHERRIE PAYNE (Former Lady of THE SUPREMES) with a track that has a Disco vibe called FREE MY SOUL which will get any party started.

PAMALA STANLEY revisits her DISCO/HI NRG Hit from 1979 with the Pounding cover remix. Producer Rick Gianatos mixed the original too back in '79!

ANGIE WHITNEY covers EXCUSE ME (I've got a life to catch) penned by Mike and Brenda Sutton originally a Dancefloor stormer for Kitty and the Haywoods and also released by the writers themselves.... More below

Distinguished vocalist Freddie Pool (Now a member of The Three Degrees) covers the 1979 Diana Ross Classic from The Boss Album "I Ain't been licked. which is pumping for the 21st century. D'Llegance was a studio group created by RICK GIANATOS and vocals by TRINA LAKES prior to recording on RSO this release was released via Airwaves on Altair in 1982 and also had releases in France and the Netherlands in 1984, seen as many as a true Disco Classic it was followed by another Studio group LOVE TWINS which featured vocals by LAURNEA and PHIL GIBSON with their 1982 release of MIAMI HEATWAVE, a disco track originally recorded and released as part of a boy band Disco project by Seventh Avenue in 1979.

This group appeared on stage and like D'Llegance had further releases. HI NRG DISCO Classic rarity TAKE MY HEART by ABBY is also included in full being its first time on CD compilation this track will fill many with memories of the Clubs in 1987 Produced and Mixed by Rick Gianatos this extended cut was released on Nightwave Records. Rick joined forces once more with vocalist LAURNEA to cover the SYLVESTER classic DON'T STOP and we have the Megamix from the single release contained on this album that was put together from mixes by Matt Pop by DJ Dave Strong. To complete this first compilation we present a true HiNRG Classic by the late JAYNE EDWARDS, her "LIFE MEDLEY" which contains a fusion of the Earlene Bentley Hi NRG hit "IM LIVING MY OWN LIFE with the perennial Classic Disco hit I AM WHAT I AM. Originally recorded as part of Jayne's live shows by Rick Gianatos we are proud to include it as part of this first album!
